Wisdom From Trenna’s iPad
This is an item I noticed on Trenna’s iPad and thought I’d share. I knew it was there, and Trenna would remind me of it from time to time.
She was extremely supportive of my career and encouraged me in it. As a result I was involved in a number of professional organisations, and held some senior positions.
She was also supportive of me going to conferences and professional development sessions. Even when it meant I would be less available to assist her.
Inevitably these events involve converstions – before and after the event, at tea breaks, between sessions and at lunch and dinner. You can build some great relationships in those opportunities.
So, Trenna was always keen to encourage me in that way, even though it doesn’t come naturally to me.
She developed this list on her iPad, I think from bits and pieces she had picked up in her career as a staff trainer, during her life, and things she heard on the radio.
Like most of these iPad pearls she (and I) didn’t think this was life changing, cutting edge information, but rather “just stuff you should probably remember”.
I do think the items she put on the list did apply specifically to me, but they do have a wider applicability.
Here is Trenna’s pointers to help in The Art of Conversation.

Wisdom from Trenna’s iPAD I found absolutely brilliant. Fascinated by her 10 bullet points for the Art of Conversation.
But you know what I really loved about the post was your preamble Greg to Tren’s 10 points, for it says so much about her and what she had become.
Quoting from your preamble: “Trenna would remind me of it from time to time……………. just stuff you should probably remember .”
It is of course part of her story and she wanted it to be told , you are exactly doing that Greg.
