One Year of TrennaMahney.com

Well a year has passed since I first started TrennaMahney.com. Six months ago I wrote about the progress I made (that is HERE) and I thought I’d provide an update.

Statistics

There are now 143 different Posts on the site. That is about 50 more than six months ago.

Trenna’s Marfan Exercises

Trenna at the top of the Gloucester Tree on 1 February 1988. The tree at 58 metres tall (190 feet) is the world's second tallest fire lookout tree. According to Wikipedia "Only 20 percent of visitors climb to the top of the tree; most make it only part of the way before turning back". Trenna and I made it to the top - we thought we were legends. Then we noticed, from the empty cans, someone had done the climb carrying half a carton of beer!

Pain relief and the hope of maintaining some sort of body condition were the two main motives for Trenna doing exercises.

To Feel Able

This upset the routine. Trenna turned 60 in 2017. She didn't feel up to going out to lunch so I set up a card table in the lounge room, set the table and bought a couple of take away burgers. It was a nice, low stress lunch.

Business Class Travel – It’s Not For Everyone

In November 2016 my then employer, Advocare Inc, gave me the opportunity to go to a mediation conference in Wellington, New Zealand.

Travel was becoming increasingly difficult for Trenna. Her eyesight was very bad and her pain management was not going well. We knew that the long flight from Perth in Western Australia to Auckland and then down to Wellington would take its toll.
